Is it possible for a cat to adopt a family? This lil' girl showed up last week. Christy saw her licking an empty dog bowl in the backyard. For ANY cat to show up in our backyard, it must be somewhat crazy. The next day she was on our front porch, meowing at us like we did something wrong.
Neither Christy or I have ever been fond of cats, but she is totally nice! Christy fed her some chicken, and now we can't get rid of her! Johnny named her Wanda, which is perfect because she 'wandas' from house to house!
Well, fast forward a few days later and Wanda is now a porch cat. Christy put out a basket w/ a blanket in it and Wanda sleeps in it at night. We keep her food dish full and the kids insist on checking on her every hour. I suppose if she is here in a few more days, we will put up flyers to see if anyone is missing a cat. I have a feeling she was dumped, but only time will tell.
Until we find out otherwise, we have a porch cat!
